Sports

We played football, basketball, kickball, and soccer with refugee kids where we continue to mentor and earn the trust of these kids. Our ongoing relationship with them is going strong and Nova Spero is helping these refugee kids assimilate thru sports and sportsmanship.

Backpack Drive

We recently held our 3rd annual backpack drive where every Nova Spero kid got a brand new backpack filled with school supplies to prepare them for the upcoming school year.

Annual Summer Swim

We provided Swim Sessions for our Nova Spero families. Swimming and water safety is a new idea to many refugee kids and teens. Many of these refugees have never been swimming let alone been to a swimming pool. They view swimming and water as dangerous. We taught these resettled refugees about water safety and introduced them to swimming.
